How to use Tuloy

Every step from your first product to closing an event, and what Pro adds. Written for booth vendors, readable on any plan.

  • Libre ₱0
  • Pro ₱100 a month
  • Updated

The short version. Add your products, open an event on the days you sell, tap to sell, and close each day. Everything saves on your phone first, so a weak signal never stops a sale. Chapters marked Pro are there so you can see what Pro adds, even on Libre.

Get started

  1. Open Tuloy and tap Start free. Sign up with your email and a password, or with Google. A password needs at least 8 characters, a capital letter, a number and a special character; the list under the field ticks each one off as you type.
  2. Type the 6-digit code we email you. It works for 10 minutes. No code? Check your spam folder, or ask for a new one after a minute.
  3. Install it. On Android, open the browser menu and tap Add to Home screen or Install app. On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Tuloy then opens like any app, full screen.
  4. Open it once while you have signal. After that it opens and sells with no signal at all.

Your booth gets a name from your account. Change it, and add a logo, on Profile: tap the pencil on your booth pass to rename, or the logo to add a photo. Both need signal.

Add your products

  1. Go to Products and tap Add product.
  2. Add up to 5 photos. The one with the star is the cover, shown on the Sell tiles.
  3. Type the name, the price, and how many you have in stock.
  4. Tap Save. The product is on your phone at once, even offline, and syncs when signal comes back.

Each colour or design is its own product (for example "Charm bracelet, blue" and "Charm bracelet, pink"), so each keeps its own stock.

To change stock, open the product and type the new count. Tuloy keeps a record of every change, so two phones selling the same item never cancel each other out. Items that run low show Running low on Products and a "left" count on their Sell tile.

Open an event

An event is one bazaar, pop-up or market, on the days you sell there. Days don't have to be next to each other: Saturday the 13th and Saturday the 20th can be one event.

  1. On Booth or Sales, tap Open an event.
  2. Event: the name and the venue.
  3. Days: tap each day you sell on the calendar.
  4. Fee: the booth fee, if there is one, for the whole event or per selling day. Tuloy uses it to tell you when you've covered it.
  5. Review: check it over and open it.

One event is open at a time. If you sell on a day you didn't plan, that day joins the event by itself.

Sell

  1. Tap Sell (the round button in the middle of the tab bar).
  2. Tap a product to add it to the cart. Tap again to add one more. A tile rests once everything you have is in the cart, so you can never sell more than you have.
  3. Tap the cart to go to Charge.
  4. Give a discount if you haggled (tawad): Tawad on this item for one line, or Tawad on the whole cart.
  5. Pick how the buyer pays:
    • Cash: tap the amount they handed you, or type it. Tuloy shows the change. If the buyer tells you to keep it, turn on Keep the change. It counts toward what's in your kaha, never toward your sales.
    • GCash, Maya or QR Ph: Tuloy shows your own QR code for the buyer to scan. Once you see the money arrive, tap Paid via that method.
  6. The Sold! tag means the sale is saved.

No QR code yet? Add it right on Charge, or later on Profile, E-wallet QR codes. Tuloy never touches the money. Buyers pay you directly, and you tag how they paid.

Closed the app in the middle of a sale to check GCash? Your cart is still there when you come back.

Fix a mistake

  1. Go to Sales and tap the sale.
  2. Tap Void sale. The pieces go back into stock, and the sale stays in your records marked Voided.

You can void a sale while its event is still open.

Close the day and the event

At the end of each selling day:

  1. Go to Sales and tap Close Day 1 (or whichever day it is).
  2. Tuloy shows the day's sales by payment method, what should be in your kaha, and how you stand against the booth fee.

On the last day, tap Close the event instead. It closes the day too and opens the event summary: sales by method, best sellers, what's left in stock, and whether the booth fee was covered. Every closed event leaves a stamp in Your booth so far on Profile.

Reports and CSV

  1. On Sales, tap Reports.
  2. Pick any dates. Tuloy shows totals by payment method, each event in those dates, your best sellers and the stock you have left.
  3. Tap Export CSV to share a spreadsheet of every item sold. It opens in Excel or Google Sheets.

Selling offline

Offline is normal in Tuloy, not an error. Every sale, product and stock change saves on your phone first and syncs by itself when signal comes back.

  • The icon at the top shows where you stand: a check when everything is synced, turning arrows while it syncs, and a crossed-out wifi with a count of what's saved on your phone while you're offline. Tap it to read the full sentence.
  • Keep Tuloy installed and don't clear its site data while something is still saved on the phone. Clearing it deletes sales that haven't synced yet.
  • If the server ever turns a change down, Profile shows Not saved on the server with what it was. Nothing is deleted.

Padala boxes Pro

Padala lets another booth sell your pieces for you. You pack a box, give its cashiers a claim tag, and they sell from one shared count. Each day ends with a remit slip of what they owe you.

Redeeming a box is free on every plan. Packing boxes is Pro.

If you're the owner (packing a box):

  1. Go to Products and tap Padala at the top, then Pack a box.
  2. Name the box and pick the pieces with − and +. You can't pack more than you have in stock.
  3. Set Their cut: the share of each sale the cashier keeps.
  4. Optionally fill in Going to: the event, venue and days the box sells at.
  5. Pack it. The box shows its claim tag (like PDL-7K3Q-M9XA). Tap the tag to copy it and send it to the cashiers.

On the box's page you can see where it stands, add or take back pieces, change a price, remove a cashier, and close the box. Closing it brings what's left back into your stock.

If you're the cashier (selling for someone):

  1. Go to Products, tap Padala, then Redeem a claim tag, and type the code. This needs signal.
  2. The pieces show on your Sell screen with the owner's name on them, and the box's event opens for you.
  3. Sell them like your own. Every cashier on the box sells from the same live count, so nobody sells a piece that's already gone.

At the end of each day Tuloy writes the remit slip: what buyers paid for the box's pieces, less the cashier's cut. The cashier sends the money and taps Mark as sent; the owner checks it came and taps Mark as received. Slips show in the bell and on Profile, Remit slips.

Pro is ₱100 a month per booth. It adds packing Padala boxes, any number of boxes and cashiers, and a remit slip of your share each day. Everything on Libre stays free. Ask for Pro on Profile, Libre plan.

Notifications and the bell

The bell at the top holds what's waiting on you: a new version of Tuloy, remit slips to send or receive, answers to your notes, and Pro reminders. Act on each one right there.

To get them on your phone even when Tuloy is closed, turn on Notifications on Profile. On iPhone, add Tuloy to your Home Screen first.

A new version never installs in the middle of a sale. The bell offers Update now when one is ready, and your cart stays. The small print at the bottom of the bell says which version you're on.

Your plan

Tap your plan on Profile to see what it includes.

  • Libre is free, for good: unlimited products, events and sales, offline selling, payment tagging, day and event tallies, reports and CSV, and redeeming Padala boxes.
  • Pro adds packing Padala boxes for other booths. It's paid ahead by the month and never renews by itself: we never take money you didn't send. The bell reminds you a week before it ends. If it ends, boxes already out keep selling, and you can still change prices, take pieces back, fix a typo in the event's name and close the box. You can't pack a new box or more pieces, add selling days, or let new cashiers join until you pay again.

Tell us what to fix or add

On Profile, tap Suggestion box. Pick Something's wrong, An idea or Just a message, write your note and send it. We read every note and answer right in the app: the bell tells you when an answer is waiting, and your notes and their answers stay in the suggestion box.
